Welcome to the Limitless podcast. My name is Radhika and I'm the founder of Jiva more Life. Our mission is to inspire you to believe that you are limitless. Today, we'll be talking about how to know if you're on the right path.
How do you know if you're on the right path? What do you look for specifically?
That is such a great question because I feel like I do ask myself if I am on the right path a lot. I think a lot of us have that same feeling, for example, is this what I'm supposed to be doing? Is this what I'm just supposed to be doing right now? Is this going to lead to something bigger? We don't really know if we're on the right path or not. We hope we are, right? We're putting our time into places that we think we can build or we think will give us what we're looking for in life, but how do we actually know? I think there are different things that you can look for. An example would be, are you happy most of the time? Are you enjoying what you're doing? This doesn't have to just be at work, but it could be your hobbies? Because that could also be the right path. In other words are you enjoying what you're doing and do you like your schedule? Do you like the people that you hang out with? That could also answer that same question of if you are on the right path. If you're not hanging out with the right people, and you're not enjoying their company, then you're not going to be happy and you're not going to feel like you're on the right path. That could be as meaningful as if you're in the right job. I think it's looking at each aspect of your day and then each aspect of your week and asking yourself if it's something that you want to be doing or if it’s taking you to somewhere that you want to be. For example, you could be working at a job that you don't necessarily love. You're not necessarily wanting to wake up and go, but it’s taking you to that next job. You're waiting to be your manager, right? And then that's the job that you'll love and that that's okay. It doesn't mean that what you're doing right now is wrong. You are on that right path because you can see that future and you can see that you're working towards it. I think really look at every aspect of your life and ask yourself, these two questions; are you enjoying it now in the moment and is it taking you to where you want to be?
